Vuyiseka Mbube may be a finalist in the Mrs Bold South Africa 2024 competition, but her story is much more than just a pageant title. Originally hailing from the Eastern Cape, she now calls the small town of Thabazimbi in Limpopo Province her home. As a mother of four, a women in mining, a beautician, a rape survivor, and a GBV activist, Vuyiseka wears many hats.

Despite facing numerous challenges in her life, including experiencing physical, emotional, sexual, and financial abuse, Vuyiseka has used her experiences to fuel her passion for helping others. She is the founder and director of Sisters In Motion, an NPO dedicated to supporting the less fortunate and vulnerable people in her community.

For Vuyiseka, entering the pageant was a way to stand up and reclaim what had been taken from her. She saw it as an opportunity to shine a light on the issues of gender-based violence and inspire other women to break the silence.
